Proiectul Comenius
-Impresii la sfarsit de calatorie-

Perioada in care am am fost implicat in acest proiect a fost una deosebit de productiva pentru mine.Desi la inceput nu am fost foarte doritor sa particip din varii motive(ma temeam ca imi va ocupa mult timp,ma gandeam ca poate nu sunt suficient de pregatit s.a.m.d.),dupa ce am aflat mai multe despre Comenius am devenit foarte doritor sa incep treaba,ajungand pana la un punct in care m-am bucurat foarte tare ca am fost cooptat de catre doamna profesaoara.
Experientele avute in perioada premergatoare vizitei in Italia au fost unice in sensul ca au existat interviuri cu oamenii care au slujbele dorite de noi,vizite la locul de munca,sfaturi si cooperari.
Am avut ocazi sa aflam informatii utile despre slujbele noastre mult dorite dar si despre ce inseamna un loc de munca,cum sa ne alegem un loc de munca si cum sa ne dezvoltam ca fiinte sociale,lucruri pe care poate nu am fi avut sansa sa le invatam si evenimente pe care,poate,nu am fi putut sa le experimentam.
Plus ca vizita in Italia ce avea sa vina ne motiva pe toti sa dam 100% din ceea ce puteam pentru a ne asigura un loc in echipa de elevi delegata spre a merge si a reprezenta liceul acolo.
Tot ceea ce a trebuit sa pregatim pentru vizita in Italia mi s-a parut deosebit si mi-a placut foarte mult.In cadrul pregatirilor pentru vizita nu numai ca am invatat o sumedenie de lucruri dar m-am si dezvoltat ca persoana.
Vizita in Italia m-a impresionat.Am avut ocazia sa cunosc o multitudine de oameni de calitate,sa leg prietenii pe care inca le mentin si sa experimentez lucruri deosebite.Locurile pe care le-am vizitat au fost impresionante si imi vor ramane in minte o buna bucata de vreme de acum incolo.Activitatile intreprinse in Italia au fost unele foarte frumoase si foarte productive pentru a lega prietenii cu elevii din celelalte tari,prilej cu ocazia caruia am avut sansa sa descopar ca desi exista mici diferente intre elevii din diferite tari,de limba,port,comportament,gandire s.a.m.d. sumtem ,in esenta,toti la fel indiferent de tara din care venim-deschisi si dornici de a experimenta si a invata cat mai multe lucruri.
Am aflat ca desi suntem toti diferiti,intotdeauna putem gasi punti de legatura intre culturile noastre,trebuie doar sa ne dorim sa facem acest lucru si sa ne pastram mereu mintile deschise.
Tot in cadrul vizitei in Italia,am facut si un mic schimb cultural cu ceilalti elevi-elevii din Italia ne-au impartasit din activitatile lor de zi cu zi dar si din activitatile lor scolare,ne-au aratat cum se distreaza ei si cum isi petrec timpul liber,muzica pe care o asculta si ne-au si invatat cateva cuvinte mai mult sau mia putin uzuale.
Profesorii au fost foarte intelegatori cu noi si s-au asigurat ca programul vizitei a fost pregatit minutios.Desi,trebuie sa recunosc ca programul in sine a fost destul de incarcat,voi recunoaste si faptul ca activitatile obligatorii s-au impletit frumos si cu activitatile de relaxare,vizitare,etc.
Am avut oportunitatea de a vizita Calabria,Sicilia,Roma,Cetatea Sfanta a Vaticanului,marea Ionica,marea Tireniana,numeroase muzee si bisericii.
Per total vizita in Italia si toata experienta Comenius a fost una deosebit de productiva pe care nu o regret nici macar o clipa si pe care o recomand tuturor elevilor care vor sa faca si ceva in plus.Sper ca si in viitor sa am ocazia sa particip in astfel de proiecte,fiindca lasand la o parte toata latura didactica a acestor proiecte,ti se mai ofera si o altfel de sansa-sansa de a evolua ca si individ si de a te maturiza!
Sper ca si pe viitor sa existe proiecte de genul proiectului Comenius in cadrul carora sa participe cat mai multi elevi,care sa mearga in cat mai multe tari si sa ridice stafeta renumelui liceului si tarii noastre si mai sus decat am reusit noi.

Va informam ca in data de 9 Mai 2011 in scoala noastra va avea loc Ziua Comenius, zi care isi propune evaluarea si diseminarea activitatilor de proiect desfasurate in cei 2 ani. Tema principala este prezantarea tuturor activitatilor, impresiile de dupa vizitele pregatitoare, sfaturi de la cei implicati in proiect pentru cei prezenti la intalnire, inmanarea diplomelor

-Sfaturi pentru tine,elevule,ce vrei sa te implici-

Deci...esti unul din elevii care doreste sa se implice intr-o activitate extracuriculara!Pai,in primul rand toti am fost in locul tau si stiu ca esti si entuziasmat de oportunitatile ce ti le poate oferi un astfel de proiect dar stiu si ca te temi...te temi ca nu o sa mai ai atat timp liber pe cat ti-ai dori,te temi ca vei incerca si ca nu vei fi destul de bun si ca poate vei dezamagi...pe tine,pe profesori,pe parinti,te temi ca activitatile pot fi prea grele si ca nu poti face fata...DAR eu as dori sa iti spun ceva:NU te mai gandi atat!!!Daca iti doresti sa participi,trebuie sa o faci!
Oportunitatile pe care ti le ofera un astfel de proiect sunt felurite si toate utile:inveti lucruri noi,vezi locuri noi,cunosti oameni de toate felurile de la care poti invata multe lucruri ,te dezvoti ca individ,iei contact cu noi moduri de gandire si viata din care poti asimila ce consideri tu a fi mai bun,si ca bonus iti mai faci si niste prieteni.
Ba chiar mai mult satisfactia ca faci ceva in plus si ca iti poti aduce contributia la construirea renumelui liceului te vor ajuta si te vor impulsiona si mai mult.
Eu,am trecut printr-o astfel de experienta si desi la inceput am privit lucrurile un pic reticent,pot spune acum,la sfarsit de calatorie,ca Proiectul Comenius mi-a schimbat viziunea despre astfel de activitati!Acum regret ca nu m-am implicat in mai multe activitati in acesti ani de liceu.
Acum iti recomand tie,elevule doritor,sa te implici in cat mai multe proiecte fiindca desi pare greu la inceput vei vedea ca nu ai sa regreti,ba mai mult iti va placea ce vei descoperi ca si participant...eu stiu sigur ca nu regret si daca ar trebui sa iau toata munca de la capat stiu sigur ca as face-o bucuros,fiindca este intr-adevar multa munca dar este si mai multa distractie!

What we are,what we hope we will be-

Desi in primele momente in care am facut cunostinta cu ceilalti elevii au fost un pic mai “grele”,cand am inceput sa ne cunoastem,atmosfera a devenit una relaxata.
Am fost toti impartiti in patru echipe si am inceput treaba!
Am inceput prima parte a zilei II de proiect cu cateva activitatii de tip “Team Building”:
-Am cantat
-Am dansat
-Ne-am dat frau liber imaginatiei in incercarea de a scrie impreuna o compunere
A doua jumatate a zilei II a fost dedicata sustinerii proiectelor noastre,prilej cu ocazia caruia am vazut si cum lucreaza ceilalti elevi.Ziua a 3-a si ziua a 4-a au foste rezervate excursiilor.Am avut ocazia sa vedem numeroase peisaje minunate,am vizitat regiunile Sicilia,Calabria am mers la marea Ionica si marea Tireniana.Am avut ocazia sa cunoastem obiceiurile si bucataria locala.Desi am mers foarte mult cu autocarul,cu totii ne-am simtit foarte bine:am cantat,am jucat carti,am jucat mima.
Cea de-a 5-a zi a proiectului Comenius a fost dedicata vizitarii Romei.
Aici,pe langa vestigiile istorice-arhicunoscute-am avut sansa sa vizitam Vaticanul,acesta m-a impresionat atat prin dimensiune cat si prin sentimentul de serenitate ce ti-l ofera.
Datorita proiectului Comenius am avut ocazia sa cunosc oamenii minunati,sa vad locuri deosebite si sa invat lucruri noi.Am trait exeriente deosebite care nu le voi uita niciodata

Vizita la Cabinetul Veterinar - Career days, A visit to the Vet Lab

Elevii care isi doresc sa devina medici veterinari, au fost invitati de catre domnul Medic Veterinar Geaman Adrian sa petreaca cateva ore la cabinetul veterinar. Pe parcursul vizitei acestia au ingrijit animalele, au participat in cadrul examenelor fizice , le-au fost prezentate echipamentele specifice domeniului medical veterinar.
Au avut ocazia sa observe proceduri medicale si sa ajute in cazul procedurilor minore, au fost invatati cum se recolteaza sangele, le-au fost explicate tehnici de ascultare a sunetelor cardio- pulmonare.

O zi alaturi de Dr.Niki Calina

Un lucru deosebit pe care am avut norocul sa il facem cu ocazia participarii in cadrul proiectului Comenius a fost acela ca am avut sansa sa interactionam cu oameni care au slujbele pe care noi am dori sa le profesam,in cazul meu cea de medic.
Am stabilit impreuna cu doamna profesor coordonator de proiect din liceul meu ca intalnirea mea cu un medic va fi in data de 16.01.2010 in cadrul spitalului Bagdasar Arseni din Bucuresti si ca voi mai merge cu alti doi colegi(un coleg care isi doreste sa devina medic si o colega care isi doreste sa devina asistenta medicala).
M-am intalnit cu ceilalti doi colegi in fata spitalului in jurul orei 8 dimineata gata echipati de treaba si doritori sa absorbim cat mai multe cunostinte.
Am intrat in spital la ora 8 fix si am fost imediat preluati de domnul dr.Niki Calina,rezident anul 7 pe specializarea neurochirurgie.Ma asteptam sa gasim un om rece,sobru,plictisit si obosit care nu va avea foarte mult timp de noi si fara pic de chef sa ne invete ceva,in schimb domnul doctor s-a dovedit a fi un om de nota 10+,nu numai ca mi-a intrunit toate asteptarile,pot spune sincer ca mi le-a depasit pe majoritatea.
A venit spre noi cu un chip luminos si cu un zambet incurajator,iar dupa ce prezentarile au fost facute pot spune ca atmosfera a devenit una minunata.
In prima faza am mers si am facut cunostinta cu ceilalti medici si cu asistentele de pe sectie(oameni prietenosi,calzi si blanzi) care ne-au primit in echipa lor cu bratele deschise.
Dupa cateva minute in care am interactionat si ne-am obisnuit unii cu ceilalti(de remarcat grija lor vis-a-vis de noi) am mers alaturi de medici si asistente sa efectuam vizitele de dimineata,prilej cu ocazia caruia am simtit pe pielea noastra cum este sa fi omul in halat alb de dincolo de pat si am observat ca oamenii care lucreaza acolo sunt nu numai oameni de o calitate deosebita dar si profesionisti in adevaratul sens al cuvantului:au intrebat fiecare pacient cum se simte,le-au zambit si i-au incurajat,le-au dat sfaturi si au raspuns la toate nelamuririle.In tot acest rastimp au avut grija sa ne explice si noua exact ce se intampla,sa ne raspunda la intrebari si sa ne imbarbateze la cazurile mai grave.
Imediat ce vizitele s-au incheiat am coborat alaturi de domnul dr.Calina in unitatea de primire a urgentelor unde domnul doctor ne-a facut cunostinta cu oamenii ce isi desfasoara acolo activitatea(unde am ramas iar surprins de caldura lor),ne-a prezentat echipamentele si aparatura si ne-a permis sa asistam la consultatiile dumnealui.
Imediat ce s-a ivit ocazia domnul doctor ne-a condus catre blocul operator unde am intrat pentru prima data intr-o sala de operatii si ne-a fost prezentata aparatura de acolo.
Nici aici nu ii pot reprosa ceva domnului doctor care a avut amabilitatea sa ne explice totul si chiar ne-a incurajat sa ii adresam intrebari la care a raspuns cu o amabilitate remarcabila.
Dupa terminarea turului blocului operator am mers impreuna cu domul doctor in unitatea de primire a urgentelor unde fusese chemat din nou pentru a oferi un consult in cazul unei doamne in varsta care tocmai fusese implicata intr-un accident de masina.Un lucru pe care nu pot sa il trec cu vederea este acela ca domnul doctor s-a asigurat ca niciunuia dintre noi nu ii este rau la vederea sangelui si imediat ce pacienta a fost stabila am fost incurajati sa privim mai de aproape,si sub atenta supraveghere a domnului doctor am avut ocazia sa vedem primul nostru pacient in calitate de purtatori de halate albe.
Cand s-a constatat ca pacienta avea nevoie sa i se gipseze piciorul am fost incurajati sa ajutam si noi,asa ca sub supravegherea domnului doctor Calina si a domnului doctor ortoped am ajutat si noi la primul nostru caz real.Desi nu am facut mare lucru,pentru mine a fost un lucru deosebit sa pot ajuta.Este visul meu asa ca sub atenta supraveghere si alaturi de incurajarile domnilor doctori am avut si noi ocazia sa ne simtim macar pe jumatate medici.
Restul sederii noastre in spital a fost destul de linistita dar nu mai putin productiva,astfel incat pe tot parcursul zilei am aflat lucruri foarte utile pentru viitor,pot spune ca personalul spitalului si mai ales domnul doctor Calina s-au dovedit a fi oaze nelimitate de cunostinte,rabdare,incurajari si zambete.
In incheierea acestei compuneri doresc sa multumesc din nou colectivului spitalului Bagdasar Arseni,dar in mod deosebit Dr.Niki Calina care este un om deosebit si care imi va ramane in minte o buna perioada de timp.
As mai dori sa multumesc si doamnei profesor Raluca Calina fara de care nu as fi reusit sa iau contact cu proiectul Comenius si fara de care aceasta zi nu ar fi avul loc.
Va multumesc domnule Doctor si va multumesc doamna Profesor!

Interview at school /Ziua Interviurilor in incinta Colegiului Agricol Viaceslav Harnaj

In cadrul Colegiului Agricol "Viaceslav Harnaj", a avut loc o importanta activitate a proiectului "What we are what we hope we will be". Elevii s-au intalnit cu persoanele ale caror joburi ei le admira si au avut loc o serie de interviuri. La intalnire au participat nu mai putin de 50 de elevi si invitati precum cu diverse joburi precum: Medic Veterinar, Asistent Medical, Politist, Horticultor, Contabil, Agricultor. Elevii au avut ocazia de a pune intrebari si a afla informatii importante despre meseria pe care acestia ar dori sa o practice pe viitor.
Cu aceasta ocazie tin sa multumesc tuturor celor care s-au implicat in buna desfasurare a acestei activitati.

Hello everyone ! I`m Alexandra,i am 18 years old, i`m in 11th grade,i`m the kind of person who openly communicate with anyone,i`m very friendly,i like to always make friends,to meet new people.I am the only child in my family,i have nice and friendly parents.They are the kind of parents that every child,in my opinion,would like to have.In my spare time,i try to relax as much as possible to upload my batteries for the days ahead ans i feel as good i can with people i like to live beside.As my hobby is also..a dream..dream rather make efforts to become a stewardess..since now i can fulfill this desire..I wish i will succeed !
I think this project will influence my life,this project make me think better about what i want to do in the future and what options i have for my career and more !

Hello there.My name is Serban Calin I am 15 years old and I currently study at Viaceslav Harnaj college.Im not very sociable(you would not believe that if you saw me) and I am (my worst habit) a games addict.Since i do not have too many subjects about me this will go quite fast.I am more of a rap man i like several romanian artists like Spike, Bitza,Parazitii.My least favourite artists (if I can call them artists) are the (well there is no english word for that soo) manele artists.Even though some of (well the most of them) my classmates listen them.What else?? Oh I have blonde hair and brown eyes.I dont really like to do homework but I have to.Saturday and Sunday i go to a martial arts class (more exactly aikido).I have been going now for over 6 years and it is well not fun but lets say an escapade from the daily routine.I dont have so much favourite movies there were only about two or three. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Puppet Master Axis of Evil and Final Fantasy VII(this one is pretty cool I reccomend it).Last but not the least my most favourite game is ....^^.....(wouldnt be that hard to guess for some of you) Starcraft II.Thats it for me.See ya(if i get choosed)as soon as possible

I was born in Belgium Leuven , but now I live in Romania Bucharest with my parents and my brother he has 25 years old. Something that can I say about me is that I’m a friendly person who likes to give good advice and discover new things. In my free time I like to go outside with my friends, I love to do shopping, I like to watch movies and my favorite movies are ‘’ A walk to remember” and ‘’ Twilight’’. I love to read books because are very interesting and also my favorite book is ,,Jane Eyre” by CharlotteBronte. I like to listen music and my favorite singers are: Eliza Doolitle ,Chris Brown, One Republic , Sia , Bruno Mars , Jonas
Brothers, Metro Station. My ambition for the future is to become a veterinarian.

Impressions after our meeting in Norway

Norway – Duhan Razvan Mihai

Norway … Norway , my heart is still in Norway … :D Such a beautiful country , green fields , nice people and fresh air… Mountains and fjords. What more can you want?
In my opinion , the project meeting was the best in Norway , now I don’t know anything about the other ones but this one captured my heart. The teachers and the students did a very good job , and made sure we ( the foreign students ) had a very nice time. The trips combined with the school activities made our stay very interesting and never to get bored of. My personal schedule was FULL , my host made sure my spare time was full of fun. I met 2 great families as I got the opportunity to stay at 2 friends.
And no , for those who ask … Norway is not that cold  It’s just the best !

My impression about the project and my visit in Norway

My impression about project is very good.
I think that this project helps us to interact with other persons from another countries and their cultures. The visit to Norway, I liked it because I had the chance to see the students, the teachers and the school.... I could see many beautiful places such as Sveio, Bergen and Haugesund.I visited the school and the most interesting experience was that, I had the opportunity to stay at home to a Norwegian student, where I could meet here a nice family and I could interact with them.
We joined a lot of activities which were very nice :D The most interesting and enjoyable activity, was that when I went home to Mary, where I saw a scary movie and I had the opportunity to speak and know all students from all countries participating in the project.
The project "What we are what we hope we will be" represents a great chance for knowledge development and speaking English The visit to Norway was a beautiful and enjoyable experience from which I learned a lot of things and I made many friends .

Between 27th September and 3rd October 2010 we had our third project meeting in Norway. Many beautiful things happened during the visit and for this we have to thank to our host from Norway. we had many presentations about free time activities, about future wanted jobs and our students were excellent. we would like to exhibit here some photos from our extraordinary experience. we had a lot of interesting activities, our students had the chance to compare different ways of living, they could practice many sports like paddling, naavigating on the sea,climbing mountains.

Project meeting in Portugal

Between 03rd – 8th May 2010 took place the second project meeting in Portugal. More than 45 teachers and students from all the partner institutions attended the meeting and we all were warm welcomed by the Portuguese team.
A group of 2 teachers and 6 students from Colegiul Agricol Viaceslav Harnaj attended this meeting, there were many activities like: getting to know each other with the Portuguese staffs, students and local community. All our students were involved in many interesting activities and nice games organized by the host school. Students also participated to some sport events( football, netball, basketball). During the meeting many power point presentation were displayed ( fashion, music, dances, sports)
On Friday evening we had a common fashion show were all countries showed their own clothes( modern, casual, traditional popular costumes) and they dances and sang different traditional songs. We also enjoyed many fieldstrips and we had the chance to see many beautiful places( museums, castles, the ocean, famous cities). This experience was an excellent chance for our teachers and students to develop new friendships, to develop their language skills and aware them about the different cultures, educational systems, way of living

In perioada 03- 08 May 2010 a avut loc a 2-a reuniune de proiect in Portugalia. Peste 45 de profesori si elevi din cadrul institutiilor partenere au luat parte la aceasta reuniune si cu totii am fost intampinati cu caldura de echipa portugheza.
Un grup de 2 profesori si 6 elevi din cadrul Colegiului Agricol Viaceslav Harnaj au participat la intalnire. Pe parcursul intregii perioade au fost organizate multe activitati, precum: am facut cunoastiinta cu staff-ul portughez, cu elevii si comunitatea locala din Portugalia. Toti elevii au fost implicati in diverse activitati si jocuri interactive, organizate de scoala gazda. Elevii au participat de asemenea la niste evenimente sportive9 fotbal, tenis, baschet). Pe parcursul intalnirii au fost prezentate multe prezentari power point, realizate de elevi cu teme precum moda, muzica, sportul, dansuri
Vineri 07 Mai s-a realizat un spectacol de moda comun, unde toate institutiile partenere si-au etalat propriile haine ( moderne, haine obisnuite in randul adolescentilor, costume populare traditionale), au dansat dansuri traditionale si au interpretat melodii specifice fiecarei.
De asemenea ne-am bucurat de multe excursii si am avut extraordinara sansa sa vadem multe locuri frumoase( muzee, castele, oceanul, orase faimoase)
Pentru noi echipa romana, cat si pentru toti cei prezenti la intalnire aceasta experienta a reprezentat o sansa excelenta sa dezvoltam noi prietenii, sa ne dezvoltam abilitatile lingvistice. Am devenit mult mai constienti de diferitele culturi existente in Europa, am cunoscut alte sisteme educationale si moduri diferite de trai.

Newsletter with photos about our project: „What we are what we hope we will be”
Starting with 1st October 2009 to June 2011 Colegiul Agricol Viaceslav Harnaj from Bucharest develops the project Comenius 1 „ What we are what we hope we will be” from the Lifelong Learning Programme. In the project 7 European countries take part: Coordinator( Hungary) and the partners(Romania, Turkey, Norway, Portugal, Bulgaria and Italy).
Starting with 1st October 2009 we realised in our school a Comenius Corner were we can exhibit all information and materials during the project.

Between 24.10.2009- 30.10.2009 in Bucharest took place the first project meeting. At the meeting participated 20 teachers and students from the participating schools. Our team( The headmasters: Felicia Stroe and Radu Gherghe, the responsible of the project: Raluca Calina, the teacher: Luisa Alexandrescu and our students) welcomed the participants at our school. During the meeting there were many activities like:
• Getting to know each other, the Romanian staffs and students with the participants from the other schools. Discussing some differences between different educational systems, visiting the school.
• All the participants presented some power point presentations showing our schools, countries and we had the chance to see the differences between our school , country and the other European countries.
• Our students made some shorts films about their daily routine and everyone enjoyed them.
• There were made some small groups of students who had to care the particioants during their visit in the school and to field trips.

During the visit we discussed how to create a common blog for all counties where we all can exhibit the project materials, we discussed what information must be included on the blogs, what style we should use, we shared different responsabilities about the future activities. We all decided the date of the following project meeting where would go 8 members of our team( Headmaster Felicia Stroe, Responsabil proiect: Raluca Calina, and the students: Troanca Ana Maria, Leonard Geanta, Adrian Lascu, Adrian Danalache, Roxana Dinca and Daniela Neagu)
Our guests had the opportunity to see and discover our town Bucharest and also some of our best know atractions ( Peles Castle and Bran Castle).

After the meeting all the partners have created one blog for each institution

My school program : Lascu Laurentiu

Every day of the week we start school at 7:30 AM, but an exception is Wednesday when we start 1 hour later. My opinion is that we have a complicated and a heavy program but we try our best. This year is the hardest cause we have an important exam which could decide our future. Every day we learn many stuffs and interesting things about life and great activities. Monday for example we have Romanian, English and 2 classes of our profile that are very complicated .Tuesday we have math, Geography and Financial planning and other classes witch are boring .Wednesday we have Economics, Math a profile and Sport .Thursday we have 2 classes of math and 4 of profile, as you can see we have many classes of our profile .Friday we have 2 hours of Romanian, 1 of English and 2 of profile.
Our breaks are short of 10 minutes and we don’t have time for the things that we try to do. But in this short time we take advantage at full; we listen to music, we talk and try to repeat out lessons(kind of).Many of my classmates have different tastes with one and the other but our 3 years together made us like brothers .
What I like of our high-school is that we are aloud to speak freely and our opinions are taken in consideration in the future.
It’s a shame that in 1 year we will leave this period of life and days of happiness but also sadness witch this I consider a normal and stable life.

College V. Harnaj is one of the most respected institutions of education. it has many school activities such as this ‘’Exchange of Experiences’’, that helps to socialize with people and learn about the traditions and culture of their countries and even to visit. Beside this project we had many activities and had to found teams then to form a company to have a good stand ,a good presentation and be shown to ’’Fair of Companies’’, was very funny and educational.
Last year we had to go at Apimpondia is near my high school and had been well organized and have a booth to sell honey school was nice to do something for my high school.
So this is some of my school activities was interesting to participate and I had a lot to learn .

First of all I want to say that our school is customary to have all sorts of school and extracurricular activities ,we recreate and engaged in more drag and are working more effort to come out as we should, and should represent as high school and get them high performance in everything we do.
Some activities are:

-Fair Apimondia attended and our high school students or presented in which many kinds of honey.
- Organizing a culinary exhibition fair, where all students attend school with them cooked preaparte, either cakes or foods to be tested by a panel of several teachers and a special inspector.
-Fair training firms which is held every year. Our students participate in this fair trained Team, each class should be organized to form imaginary companies that must work, and which should contain everything you need in a real company.Last year I participated in this fair with my company 'Fancy Fashion' which deals with trade clothing and that I got the best presentation and the best company.
-Our teachers also organizes trips to the mountains and other places in our country but also abroad.
At the end of the high school prom have to be taken to sea, and with the participation not only students but also our teachers, head teachers and friends who want to be with us in high school, the end of all fun and even if we had some of have had divergent during the year end we all felt well and remain friends.
So about this have been a part of our school activities organiztate.

Hello, this is a presentation of my high school program, being in a economics profile many of my classes are based on that certain profile. Over the years we had many different profile classes but they narrow down in actually 3 base classes: Accounting, Economics and Marketing.
Every day of the week we start school at 7:30 AM and have about 6 hours per day of classes. An exception is Wednesday when we start 1 hour later. We have a complicated and a heavy program but we try our best. This year is the hardest cause we have an important exam which could decide our future. Every day we learn many stuffs and interesting things about life and great activities. I’ll set a sketch for my program that I have this year. Monday for example I have Romanian, English and 2 classes of our profile that are very complicated .Tuesday we have Math, Geography and Financial planning and other classes. Wednesday we have Economics, Math a profile and Sport .Thursday we have 2 classes of Math and 4 of profile, as you can see we have many classes of our profile . Friday we have 2 hours of Romanian, 1 of English and 2 of profile.
We have short breaks of 10 minutes and we don`t have time for the things that we try to do. During our breaks we listen to music, we talk and try prepare for the upcoming class. My classmates and I don’t really have many things in common we are separated in small groups of friends but we don’t argue with one another.
The best thing about our high-school is that we are aloud to speak freely and our opinions are taken in consideration in the future .
Even if we don’t get along that much it will be really sad this year because it’s the last one before we graduate. After 4 years you get used to someone if you like it or not . But we have to look forward to our future and that’s what keeps us going.

My activity as a student

First of all, I will say that education it`s really important for all of us. When I was child, I used to think that learning and studying it`s boring, but now I think that, this is the most important thing that we have to focus on, because life is a continuous examination and we should be ready for this…
In my country, I think that 55% of students, they don`t care about studying, they only want to finish 10 classes and after they get a job and this is it…But I`m not agreeing with this….I know that I have to learn more and more and participate in projects, because this will shape me in my life…
My activity as a student is a really good one, I join in every project I can and I try to do my best every chance I get.
During high-school, I have attended several school contests and obtained high results such as the 3rd prize in International Symposium "Protection of Consumers in the Market Economy", the 2nd prize in “Best Accounting Operator” and the 1st prize in "The impact of drugs on young people" inter-county contest, organized with the support of the Romanian Police.
I like to think of myself as an hard-working and goal-oriented person and I believe that these would make me a suitable candidate for any job…

COLLEGE "V. HARNAJ" had and has many after school activities.
At school I have participated in 'Comenius 1 Project' where I had the chance to meet other students from other countries and to learn about their educational SYSTEMS.
2 years ago I was with my colleagues and teachers in a trip to GREECE, organized by my high school and Sector 2 city hall, WHERE I visited museums, I went to the seaside ETC.
I have participated at the Olympics, where I had good results (ECONOMICS, MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH).
Our high school has its own Farm, where my colleagues from the technological or vocational school make their PRACTICE, and participate in the production of bees and honey. I took part to an event , where we had to sell honey produced by our school .
Every year, in the Hall are organized SCHOOL CHAMPION volleyball and soccer. Many days my colleagues PLAY FOOTBALL TOGETHER WITH OTHER CLASSES.
Also during my school programme I had the opportunity to do my training firm PROP, WHERE I can LEARN HOW to be on my own, about the style of my business COMPANY holding accounts, guided by teacher Mrs. PADUARARU NICULINA.

Comenius - “What we are and what we hope we will be.”

My name is Leonard Geanta and i`m from Bucharest, Romania. I am currently in the 12th grade at “V. Harnaj High-School” department of Economics/Accounting.
This year I joined in Comenius project with theme “What we are and what we hope we will be”
This project started in October 2009. It is made into English in partnership with 7 schools from European countries like : Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Portugal, Italy and Norway.
First meeting was in Romania on 24th- 30th October 2009 in my high-school. It was a great pleasure for me to meet and to talk with all those people.
Here in Romania, we had to do an essay about us ( name, school, friends, free time), this was very funny because in this way we meet each other very good, and you know, it`s funny to hear things that you don`t know about a persons that you know from 2006.
Another thing that we did was a video-clip…In that one we showed a normal day for us…For the meeting we had to made a presentation about a theme that our professor gave to us. I had to talk about Bucharest. In my opinion this was the best subject to talk about…I made a Power Point Presentation with all information about my city ( Herastrau Park, Dambovita River, Village Museum and more other).
From this meeting I learnt to make video-clips, I meet a lot of people that became my friends, I was visiting Village Museum with all guests, I was talking with guests about living in Bucharest and learn in “V. Harnaj”, about their countries, their schools and of course about university, because next year I will make it to university.
Next meeting will be in Portugal on May. I can`t wait to see my new friends, through we keep in touch on the internet, and I would like to thank my teacher for involving me in this project.

I was really eager to met the other people from the countries witch were selected to participate in this project which I consider very useful not only to us but to all the participants !I was very glad to see that all of them were very opened to new ideas and cultures .It was like a gathering of different principles and opinions about the world.
I want to thank my teachers for selecting me to get involved in this amazing project. This is the road to revolution, our revolution in the world.
My only regret is that we had only 4 days to discuss about us and about our country. But I hope that soon we will have more time and more active participants.
In short I think it was a success, a great success. We talked, we made friends and we realized how good is to have other opinions for a single task.

What this experience meant for you?

For me this experience was something new in my life, unique and helped me to improve my English and to make new friends, and have the opportunity to know different characters and personalities to the extent that I could. During this exchange of experience we could visit places where I have not been before, I connected friends and I got more confidence in myself and my power and ability to do as many things and to follow my path in life and passion for theater.
I got over my shyness and I exposed my point of view when I thought I was right and when necessary.
I think that experience helped me as person and I think that was welcome for my school, for teachers who have worked and contributed to the exchange of experiences, because people from other countries to see that in Romania are not just people who’’ pull us down’’ making things not so well seen in other countries, but we have people and young talented, respectful and eager to learn as many new things to study and to have a good future.
I want very much to go on with this experience and do my best to get as far and from now on, to participate in other experiences of this kind if I have an opportunity to.
To conclude this experience helped me, I changed for the better and made me have more confidence because of my courage and my teacher who trusted me and my skills. So that it was for me this exchange of experiences.

My Impression about Comenius Visit – Romania Duhan Razvan

Hello, my name is Duhan Razvan Mihai and I’m a student in Harnaj College .
In my opinion the first meeting in project, which took place in our beloved High School was a bit awkward but a very nice experience after all. Was a bit awkward because was the very first meeting in this project for us and I really didn’t know what to do better.
The teachers and the students did a very good job with the presentations about our country and our partners countries. Foreign teachers we’re very interested in our presentations (at least that’s what It looked like) and I personally liked very much the images they showed us about where they live and work. I am still stunned that Turkey has such a big school and Norway has such a beautiful landscape near the school.
Students to be honest looked a bit tired and I am pretty sure they just wanted the presentation to be over so they can go and visit our beloved city.
I really hope in the following presentations among the next years, we will get to know better each others ( students ) and learn about our different cultures , such as music and lifestyles.
My kudos to you all.

My impressions about the meeting in my country

Let’s say that I’ve been a little eager to meet the people on this program. It was the first time for me when I had to say a presentation in front of foreign people . It went really well .
Al participants were glad as me for this experience. Everything went good and smooth with some minor exceptions. The teachers were really open to conversations and students weren’t far behind. It’s good that I’ve been selected to be the one to represent my country in this program. My teachers have faith in me to do a good job so I won’t disappoint them .
It was a pity that the foreign people to our country couldn’t stay more than 4 days so they could fully experience what my country has to offer. At least they saw Bran’s Castle , Dracula’s Castle to be more precise. It is one of our biggest cultural sites.
We’ve made some new friends and I am also glad about , not many people have friends in different countries and this is a very bad thing , we really need to break the gaps between societies.
Now I’m looking forward to see what our partners have to offer us in the means of experience .

I think the visit we have received from all the teachers and students of abroad was a pleasant one, at least for me. We went to see some museums and I was pretty much surprised to find out how eager they were to know our customs or a slice of our modern history. I also liked the time they came to see our school projects, gave us small gifts and listen with such an open-minded attitude some problems regarding our educational system.
They looked so happy to be in Romania, especially when we went on a trip to the mountain side and they got to visit the Peles and the Bran Castle for the first time. I am so glad I had this opportunity to meet with all of those great people and managed to communicate with them.
I consider their arrival here a tremendous chance for our school to get some extra attention from abroad, and also, perhaps a tiny step forward to improve the diplomatic relations between countries.

Mihaela- Impressions after the visit
I think that that this project is a very good idea for our school and according the visit I can say that it was a geart one. For us was very strange and a little difficult because it was the first time when we had to talk only in English, we had to make some presentations and we had to take care about the foreign group. The start of the visit was hard but in the following days everything went on the right way. The experience was a very nice one, we had the chance to meet people from all Europe, we had the chance to talk about different cultures, educational systems, traditions, the best touristic destioantions. For me and for my colleagues the meeting was a great opportunity to develop our language and our knowledge about Europe.

For me, this project is something new; I’ve never done a project that took so much time, but it has been interesting so far.
My participation at this project gave me the opportunity to find out more about the culture and the life of other foreign teenagers. It also gave me the chance to participate at a very important project that made me change my opinion about things and about my goals .
This experience taught me to see the differences between their schools and ours. For example, I noticed that the projects and activities that they participate to are more numerous and complex.
I really enjoyed participating at this project and I really hope this is not just a one time opportunity, so I really appreciate their presentation and I hope they enjoyed our presentation as well.
In the future I hope that this kind of projects will help us developing our relations.

MY OPINION ACCORDING THE PROJECT "COMENIUS 1" is a very GOOD one.
I had the opportunity to meet people from other countries. I liked the fact that we had to show our presentations to the partners and I liked the persons who came to the meeting. We were able to exchange information, I COULD SHOW them the BEAUTY of our country ROMANIA and they all could see our High School.
Maybe I can not express in words what it was, but I liked VERRY much and I think I had a lot of THINGS to learn from them AND about THEIR CULTURE and TRADITIONS.

Romania is a very beautiful country located in Southeastern and Central Europe, North of the Balkan Peninsula, on the Lower Danube, within and outside the Carpathian arch, bordering on the Black Sea. Almost all of the Danube Delta is located within its territory.
We the Romanian are very proud of our country because here you can find many things in the same place as Danube, the most important river in our country, you can find the Danube Delta, a natural area with many type of vegetation which is populated by many types of birds and animals, you can see the Carpathian Arch with all the beauties and also the Black Sea.

Danube Delta

Danube delta is the second largest river delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta, and is the best preserved on the continent. The greater part of the Danube Delta lies in Romania (Tulcea county)
The approximate surface is 4152 km², of which 3446 km² are in Romania.
The modern Danube Delta began forming in a gulf of the Black Sea, when the sea rose to its present level. A sandy barrier blocked the Danube gulf where the river initially built its delta.
The Danube Delta is a low alluvial plain, mostly covered by wetlands and water. It consists of an intricate pattern of marshes, channels, streamlets and lakes. The average altitude is 0.52 m, with 20% of the territory below sea level, and more than half not exceeding one meter in altitude. The climate of the Danube Delta is continental with strong influences from the vicinity of the Black Sea and its prevalent amphibian environment. It is the driest and sunniest region and plains of the delta
In 1991, the Romanian part of the Danube Delta became part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Around 2,733 km² of the delta are strictly protected areas.

Mogoşoaia Palace is situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, Romania. It was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brâncovenesc style, a combination of Venetian and Ottoman elements. The palace bears the name of the widow of the Romanian boyar Mogoş, who owned the land it was built on. The Palace was to a large extent rebuilt in the 1920s by Marthe Bibesco.
The Palace had been given to Marthe by her husband, George Bibesco, who later also deeded the land to her. She spent all her wealth from the many books she wrote in its reconstruction and it became the meeting place for politicians and international high society, a quiet retreat during the growing turmoil of the 1930s. Prince George died in 1941 and was buried in the small, white 1688 church on the grounds of the Palace.
The Palace is now a popular tourist destination, but although the grounds and gardens are beautiful, the interior of the palace itself is under reconstruction and presently houses a museum and art gallery. (Muzeul de Artă Brâncovenească)

My name is Mirescu Luiza-Roxana, I was born on 14 September 1991 in Filiasi City ,Dolj County.
After I finished primary school in my home town, I've decided to continue my studies on "Viaceslav Harnaj" College in the section called " Company Pet Technician", in Bucharest.
It has been and it still is quite hard, knowing the fact that I didn't know anyone in this big city but my passion for animals was greater.
I must admit that I had the chance to learn new things and meet extraordinary people, such as my English teacher, on her name ,Luisa Alexandrescu. It is very important for me to be surrounded by quality people ,because what I'm learning now will tell me a lot in the future.
About me it is much to be said but I would try to be precise and stick to the most important facts.
Cooking is one of my top passion ,as well as a quality I might say, there for I'm watching a lot of cooking shows and I'm always trying to surprise my family and friend with new and tasty meals.

My name is Leonard Geanta, i`m 18 years old and i was born and raised in the beautiful country of Romania, wich is located in SE Central Europe.
I don`t have brothers but i`ve got a best friend and i like to say that his my brother, because we`re very close to each other.
I live with my parents in Bucharest, they are my support on everything. I`m student at Harnaj high school, this is my last year here and i try to do my best because next year it`s comming the college.
I`m a friendly person. I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with my friends, but first of all i`m a very big basketball fan.
My favorite movies are The Secret, Pursuit of Happiness, Prison Break, Coach Carter and others...If you gonna ask me what`s my favorite book, i`ll say „Ask, and it is given”.
I`m a NBA ( american professional league) fan also, but because i`m from Romania, i also watching our championschip-Divizia A. I can`t say i don`t like football or tennis but basketball it`s my favorite.
Unfortunately, i don`t have much time to play basketball, because i sacrificed my free time to learn.
I have a lot of dreams...of course fisrt is to be business man, and others like: to visit New York City, to see Time Square and to walk in Central Park...have a lot of money, have a Porsche Carrera 4S, have a vacantion house in Cleveland ( U.S.A) and olso in London, to travel the whole world, win the lottery to help poor people from the problems the face and more others...
This year i try to take the driver license, i can`t wait...

Hello my name is Danalache Adrian , i’m 18 years old and I go to the High School ,, Viaceslav Harnaj ’’ in Bucharest. I currentely reside in the schools boarding school. My home is far away allmost at the other side of the country, it takes about 9 hours worth of distance by the train from where I living now to my home. You could say I’m a simple guy doing what other adolescent kids do these days, for example clubs, computers especialy games, and having fun. Living with other 3 room mates is prety hard at some times, especialy when we dont agree on stuff. I lived on my own since i was 14, only going home on breaks and holidays. In my years living in boarding schools I’ve learned out of necesities a few things, like cooking, my room mates call me the ,, Chief ’’, and that u need to sort out your priorities to get ahead. I’m not that in to sports, I used to like football when i was younger but now I barely watch it . Instead when i get the time i watch Wrestling , now this sport is more about the show than the competition. I used to listen to a lot of music before, but now im not in to it that much. I used and still listen when i can Eminem, Linkin Park and some romanian artists like Puya and Parazitii. For me is not about one genre or 2 of music its about the song, if I like it I listen to it. I spend my free time with my friends, we especialy like to play pool, or with my girlfriend, we like to go to karaoke clubs, stand up comedy clubs, walks through the park and stuff like that. People say that i have potential but dont realise it, well i guess its true. But like one of our writers said if you’re dumb your happy, if you’re smart ur sad, I prefer to be dumb and happy instead of the later. If all of us where smart and sad we would have a problem. Well that’s about it i guess this is me in writing.

My name is Iusmen Cristian but everyone calls me Max. I am 18 years old and I am in the twelfth grade. One of the things I like most is to keep myself healthy and work out every day. We actually have a gym at school where everyone is welcomed to join for free. I and some friends of mine from school go there after classes or even during breaks to work out. I try to keep myself fit, but I do not have a strict diet consisting of fruits and healthy snacks. Unfortunately, I love to eat at fast food restaurants and I always have my dessert too.
Besides sport, one thing that I like is music. Hip-Hop and Rock’n Roll are the only types of music I listen to. I am friendly, social, I try to by always funny, I don`t care about what people say about me (I mean rude people). Bran castle

Bran castle, situated near Bran and in the immediate vicinity of Braşov, is a national monument and landmark in Romania
•This is a picture of Bran Castle wich is considered the castle of vampire Count Dracula. The fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. The castle is famous because of persistent myths that it had been the home of Vlad the Impaler. According to most accounts, the Impaler spent two days in the Bran dungeon, as the area was occupied by Ottoman Empire at the time.
The castle is now a museum open to tourists, displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie. Tourists can see the interior individually or by a guided tour. At the bottom of the hill is a small open air museum park exhibiting traditional Romanian peasant structures (cottages, barns, etc.) from across the country.
The castle was first used in 1378 in defence against the Ottoman Empire, and later became a customs post on the mountain pass between Transylvania and Wallachia. The castle briefly belonged to Mircea the Elder of Wallachia. Vlad Ţepeş did not actually live in the Bran Castle, it is believed he spent two days locked in the dungeon while the Ottomans controlled Transylvania .
•From 1920 the castle became a royal residence within the Kingdom of Romania. It was the principal home of Queen Marie, and is decorated largely with artefacts from her time, including traditional furniture and tapestries that she collected to highlight Romanian crafts and skills.

The overall impression is that Romanian peasants take great pride in their work and homes. Bucharest- Arch of Triumph

Arch of Triumph initially built in wood, in 1896, to celebrate the royal wedding between Prince Ferdinand and Queen Maria. Made of stone in 1922, in the memory of the victory of Romanian army in the World War I and finished in the actual shape during 1935, of Deva granite.
Standing 25 metres high, the Arc has a staircase that allows visitors to climb to the terrace on the top of the monument. The sculptures that decorate the monument were created by leading artists of the day, including Ion Jalea, Constantin Medrea and Constantin Baraschi.
